A French native, Claire Paris happened upon the Musée des Arts Décoratifs on the rue de RIvoli while studying in Paris, and her inspiration in jewels was set. She returned many times to explore the galleries of jewelry designers over the centuries and fell in love with Art Nouveau pieces. To Paris, every piece of jewelry tells its own story, whether antique or contemporary. Paris joined CIRCA in 2020 and currently serves as Director of CIRCA Beverly Hills and Calabasas. She is a well-respected fine jewelry and watch expert who has over a decade of experience in the jewelry industry. Prior to joining CIRCA, Paris was a fine jewelry and watch valuations manager for a leading online authenticated luxury consignment company. Earlier, she worked as a jewelry specialist for an international auction house in Los Angeles, where she had the privilege to work on important collections of jewels owned by celebrities including Lauren Bacall, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Barbara Taylor Bradford and Jackie Collins. Paris can attest that the jewels in these collections had stories to tell! Paris is a Graduate Gemologist trained at the Gemological Institute of America and watch specialist certified by the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH). Paris holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Université Paris Descartes and a B.A. in Fashion Design from ESMOD International Fashion University.
