Jose's jewelry career began in his father's workshop in Madrid. His fascination for jewels and gemstones continued to grow and he's since held various positions within the industry, including as a diamond salesman across Spain and also ventured into appraising in 2004. After several years as a gem laboratory assistant, he began teaching the art of jewelry and watchmaking at various institutions.

Mr. Delestal joined CIRCA in 2016 and completed training in our New York headquarters. He currently serves as a buyer in our Madrid office.

Jose holds a Graduate Gemologist Degree, specializes in diamonds and appraisals from IGE, and has completed courses in gem treatments and jewelry history at Gem-A, HRD, and Sotheby's. With over 35 years of experience in the industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.
